• Create and manage your CarePostNow account
• Display your caregiver profile or care team shift listings publicly on the Platform
• Process payments for shift postings and subscriptions via Stripe
• Send transactional emails (account confirmations, shift posting updates, expiry reminders) via Resend
• Respond to support requests and communications
• Improve the reliability, security, and features of the Platform
• Comply with legal obligations

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We share information only as follows:

• Stripe — to process job posting and subscription payments. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.
• Resend — to send transactional emails to your registered email address. Resend's privacy policy is available at resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
• Supabase — to securely store account data, profile information, and shift listings. Supabase's privacy policy is available at supabase.com/privacy.
• Law enforcement or legal process — if required by applicable law, court order, or governmental authority.

Caregiver profile information and care team shift listings are intentionally public so that users can connect directly. This includes your name, phone number, email, and professional details as entered on the Platform.

4. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your logged-in session, remember your preferences, and analyze Platform usage. We use only functional and analytics cookies — we do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

You can configure your browser to refuse cookies, but some features of the Platform may not function correctly without them.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services and comply with legal obligations. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (for example, payment records which Stripe may retain for up to 7 years).

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated personal data
• Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format
• Objection: Object to processing of your personal data in certain circumstances

California residents (CCPA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information.

EU/UK residents (GDPR): You have the rights listed above. Our legal basis for processing your data is performance of a contract (providing the Platform) and legitimate interests.

7. Account & Data Deletion

To request deletion of your account and all associated personal data, email support@carepostnow.xyz with the subject line “Delete My Account.” We will process your request within 30 days and confirm deletion by email.

8. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication managed by Supabase, and PCI-compliant payment processing through Stripe. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

9. Children's Privacy

CarePostNow is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us at support@carepostnow.xyz.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
